This is my first time posting. I took the GMAT recently and got a disappointing 610. I want to able to retake the GMAT and at least reach the mid to upper 600s in a month (or higher if possible).
The first time I prepared on my own with the Kaplan study guide. I just got the official guide along with the verbal and quant review. Do you guys think it would be possible for me to reach that goal using just the official guide or do you recommend taking a prep course?
I'd be interested to know what the community thinks about this as well.
I was disappointed with my 620 q39 v 36 which I received in October of 2009.
I have been passively working through the OG quant section since then and I am interested in retaking the test in May.
I'd rather not invest too much money into various other guides if it is possible to attain a higher score with the OG guides and some Kaplan materials.
