Think of that 615 more as a 660, maybe a 670, on the Classic version. 680-90 would be a stretch. And 615 may not be enough for Columbia and Berkeley, even Duke and NYU could be tight (specially if your quant percentile is low) since you are from an overrepresented pool.

In addition to Vanderbilt, consider schools like Emory, Georgetown and USC, if you wish to go ahead with the 615. Or just retake the GMAT.

Hi tarunsaberwal
Priyanka here from ARINGO. Speaking about your profile, see, a 615 FE, while decent, is going to make those dream schools a tough climb. Columbia, NYU, Duke, and Berkeley? Those are real reaches. Vanderbilt, still a challenge, but more doable compared to your other target schools.

Your work experience looks solid, though. VC, healthcare finance, your own startup—that's interesting. And the squash, that's a nice touch. Make sure the main highlight of your application is your experience.

If you cannot give a retake and plan to apply with that score, you've got to nail everything else. Storytelling is key. Why MBA? Why now? Numbers talk, so quantify your impact wherever possible. Get killer recommendations. And your essays need to be gold. Your startup is your secret weapon, play that up too.

Honestly, you should think about adding a few safe schools too. And maybe throw in some online courses or volunteer work to show you're serious.
