thanks for the support guys. I guess I have to live up to the 620 - 7XX jump now.

the GMAT didnt intimidate me at all, I could feel the questions were all within reach its just my timing really sucked and i was stuck on more than one question for more than give minutes. I ran thru the last ten in verbal very quickly with RANDOM guessing the last seven questions.

Congrats on your great score Faizu!

thanks Hjort.

I didnt take that many practice CATs (maybe thats why the time mismanagment) but the few I did take:

Kap 1 540
Kap 2 550
Kap 3 540

PR I 580

PP I 560
PP II 640--> closest to my real score

As you can see my practice scores were all low, but i knew that those werent any indication. Its all about attitude. That helped me a lot on test day

I am getting pretty much the same scores that you are getting. I infact got a 490 in a couple of exams. I am giving my exam on the 12th of Feb. I still feel I can crack the 600 barrier. I am planning to apply to a couple of schools that are asking between 600 and 650. Seeing your scores it gives me some confidence that taking practice exams and scoring low on those exams does not mean that actual exams you would score less as well. It is all in the mind.

Thanks,
