As probably both of you know, the highest gmat score is achieved by balancing the two sections (verbal and quant).
The concept is that getting a 70th percentile in both will get you 80th or 90th overall.

So, quant should definitely be the focus.
One of the main reasons for a lower quant score is not using the proper materials: would look into Kaplan math workbook or even better, get the quant MGMAT Guides. Number Properties, Word Translations, etc.

Also, you may want to take a step back and dive into basics before even toughing any of the above books and start with MGMAT Math Foundations - a very good book for those not comfortable with math. It starts with basics and builds up from that.

Thanks, bb. I've ordered the MGMAT number properties, f,d&p, word translations, E,I&VIC, and SC guides.
I already have the Kaplan Premiere Online.

The rush is on, I have just under 3 weeks until the re-write! :twisted:
