Hi,
I need some help in regard to my chances for admission into ISB for the intake of 2017-2018. I've written GMAT multiple times and have ended up with nothing better than 640 (Q49, V28). I'm a professional classical dancer and have performed across 10 countries. Recently I've been sponsored and sent by the Indian Central Govt representing Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to perform in UK and Europe.
In addition to this, I have been a programmer for 5 years till now in MNCs and start ups.
With this background in mind, I would like to know how good are my chances with ISB this year (I've heard that it increased its intake of students)?
Thanks,
Sri
Hi Sri,
You have an amazing profile and you should really focus on playing on your strengths rather than focussing too much on the GMAT. ISB has a pretty big range of GMAT scores and with your profile, you will certainly be competitive at ISB. Make sure to demonstrate the things that you learnt as a result of all your experiences.
Yes, ISB has increased the intake by a decent number. But do not look at it in this way. There will always be enough qualified candidates however big/small the batch strength is. You just need one spot... Thats it!
