Hello Friends,
I took the GMAT about 10 days ago and got a 640 with (Q 45, V 34). I am pretty disappointed, I was aiming for a 700, and would have been happy with 680. I am a bit below average for the Chicago MBA schools that I want to apply to, but maybe my 8 years of work experience and Masters from a top 15 Engineering school might take me through?
If not, I will have to re-take the GMAT. Can anyone give me tips on how to go about doing this? I studied the OG and was very comfortable with it, but the actual GMAT was much harder. I was disappointed with Kaplan too. I got a lot of Number properties DS problems which threw me off, how do I go about improving in that? I need to work on my Verbal too, what are good prep books for that? I was disappointed with Kaplan, their prep part wasnt helpful. How is the Manhattan Series?
Thanks...
