Hello All,
I gave my GMAT last thursday, and ended up with a disapponting 640. I thought I would make it to 700, but my thoughts hardly matter.
I think my verbal was below par performance, owing to the decent scores I got during practice tests.
Gmat Prep 1- 690 ( q47-v39). before OG
Prep 2- 680( q44-v36)-after OG
Prep 3-720 (q50-v39)-repeats
Prep 4-730 (q50-v41)-repeats
Seems like on the exam day I could not even hit 30 in verbal. I want to retake the exam next month, with a more focussed approach on Verbal.
I read through all the books, like
Mgmat, OG 10, Kaplan 800 about 200 from 1000 cr. Some how could not get much out of them, may be my preparation needs some recalibration, I dont think I picked up a lot even after going over all the books. I am sure that my CR strike rate is good, but RC is fair and SC is absolutely dismal.
What would be best plan to attack SC. I am still confident on my Qant, so I want to focus on SC and RC and give the exam as soon as possible, before all my Quant concepts sink again.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Aspirations.
