Hello everyone,
I just retook my gmat today after flunking it last month(Oct 15). I improved by just 80 points but I'm happy about my verbal that went from 27(43%ile) to 35(74%ile). Overall was 650 (m44,v35). I'm applying for masters in management and my score falls within the average and range of my schools. It makes sense for me to focus on other aspects of my application. I will definitely retake it in a few years when I'm ready for an MBA. I think the gmat has gotten harder as noted by some people. My practice test scores for my second attempt were:
MGMAT free test 700
Veritas Prep 690
Knewton 610
Kaplan CAT5 630
GMAT prep1 retake 760
GMAT prep2 690
I also scored 690 on Kaplan cats while preparing for my first attempts. So a good Kaplan scores does not necessarily mean a great GMAT score.
