Hi! Today I gave my second gmat exam and got a 660 (got 650 in first?) while I got a 720 on practice tests. My target was 700-740 but evidently my score is no where near! I was going to apply for a MIM at HEC and LBS. But now I think I should not because of such a low score. Let me give a brief about my profile-
Currently I am doing BA (H) Economics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, New Delhi. As of now my avg is 78%. For the year 2015-16 I was the Vice President of National Sports Organisation at my college. I am a national level badminton player. Got 97% in CSE 12th boards and a 10 CGPA in CBSE 10th. I want to make a career in sports management.
So my dilemma is wether I should still apply to HEC and LBS.. and what are the chances that I will get in if I do?

Hi RujutaB,
You can still apply, as your score is above average for both MIM programs. I believe your chances of getting in HEC is very high. You should look at Erasmus RSM as well.. Since couple of sports companies have their hq in netherlands it will be advantageous.
But if you are good with french, go for HEC. In case of France, language matters a lot... From my personal experience, I can say that more than brand of school, your language skill will matter.

First off, a 660 is a strong score (it's right around the 80th percentile overall), so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. As such, a retest might not be necessary. You're ultimately asking Admissions questions though, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:
