Hi...

I have given my GMAT couple of days back and scored
730(97%) - Q(50 -95%) & V(40-91%)

My previous score was 660 (Q-49 & V -33).

Obviously, I concentrated more on verbal while I was preparing second time...

I was told that 660 is a good score and improving it to 700+ takes a lot more effort than moving from 500s to 600s. I agree, but it is not as difficult as it commonly perceived.

I was systematic and formulated a strategy, because I was working 13-14 hours a day and I am just 26 years old :)

I noted down all my weaknesses, which are Data sufficiency and sentence correction questions..so, I spent 90% of my preparation time on these two topics and reviewed a lot...

OG is kinda bible and I did it twice..and Kaplan 800 helped me a lot too...

Test is pretty straight forward and as expected -I was feeling sleepy when I was doing verbal section...Take some energy drink or something like that, which you can use during breaks...

This club has been very helpful and all the members here are unbelievable in helping and providing insightful solutions...

Thanks A lotttttttttt......Satish.

Nice!!!!

Would you mind posting your Verbal experience. A little bit about the "type of SCs" you saw, CRs and RCs. I'd be interested in how much time you had. E.g. solved first 10 in 15 minutes, etc, etc. I felt good about 12 of 15, etc, etc.

regards,

Verbal...I got two back to back long passages within first ten questions..I was Ok with time..till 30 question...

But I had little over 1 minute per question after that..I guessed last few questions..I would have got them right if I had time..

So, pace it accordingly..

SC questions are similar to OG type and few of Kaplan type..mostly participles and parallelism type..some are pretty obvious....
And few questions were easily tackled with point of elimination..

CRs..i didn't get any bold type questions..but there were few toughies...RCs were straight forward four in total..

Hope this helps..lemme know if you need any specific info...
