Hi all,
I read a lot of debriefs and I thought to share my own experience. Sorry for the lengthy post. Badly need all your suggestions (Apologies if there are any mistakes, Its my first time)
I am a working individual. I used to spend 5hrs studying daily morning 3hrs and evening 2hrs, covering quant and verbal daily.
Took first mock in march from
MGMAT-520(Q35, V26). Started my preparation in April by taking coaching from an institution. By mid-July I completed my coaching. In these 3&half months I solved OG, Quant review, Verbal Review, Manhattan Quant book.
In June 1st week, Gave
GMAT Prep mock-1 580(Q50, V19) and I got very tensed with verbal. So I started studying
MGMAT Guide SC as I heard great reviews about that.
I started taking mock weekly once in June. (My coaching institute provided me with Manhattan mocks)
MGMAT Mock 1 - 590 (Q44, V28)
MGMAT Mock 2 - 600 (Q44, V30)
MGMAT Mock 3 - 610 (Q41, V33)
MGMAT Mock 4 - 570 (Q40, V29)
I was very depressed with the
MGMAT Mock 4 score, So I wanted to change the platform and took a E-gmat mock and scored 670(Q45, V36). It was a huge relief. I went through my mistakes after every mock and kept practicing the materials(600-700 and 700+ questions.) given by my faculty from coaching institute. Studied powerscore CR bible as I was very weak in CR.
I was unwell for 2 weeks and after that I continued my prep.
MGMAT Mock 5 - 650 (Q46, V33)
MGMAT Mock 6 - 620 (Q43, V32)
After completing Manhattan mocks, I did Advanced OG book. Completed Quant all 150 questions and verbal SC.
As I almost completed my preparation, I scheduled my exam for 03-09-2020.
In the mean while i practiced SC, CR and RC daily from GMAT club using tags. One day (I dont remember the date),
Gmat club tests were free. So i took 2 quant tests (Q47, 46) and 1 verbal (V23)
GMAT PREP Mock 2 - 680 (Q50, V31) ( 6days before exam)
Veritas PREP Mock - 650 (Q49, V30) (5days before exam)
GMAT PREP Mock 4 - 650 (Q48, V30) (4days before exam)
My target score was 680. I was confident that I would atleast score above 650 in the actual exam.
Revised all concepts. The day before my exam I stopped studying at 7pm. Slept at 8.30 but couldnt sleep till 11

I was getting tensed as I needed 8hr sleep atleast as my exam was scheduled at 8 am. Finally woke up at 5 am. Reached the test center 1hr early. Went for a walk with my dad as they asked us to wait for 15min.
Done with all procedures and started my exam. I chose Quant first as usual. I got tensed in the starting questions but I am sure that i answered correctly as they were easy and after 2,3 questions I got used to the environment. Completed quant section. I thought I did a good job in quant. I took a break and sat for 3 min outside. Started my verbal. I felt the questions were pretty tough. Didn't see any SC question that I could answer in less than 45sec as my accuracy in SC was 80% most of the times. I was weak in CR but didnt feel any difficulty answering them and didnt spend more than 2mins on CR. Every RC I faced was of high level. But then I told myself that I can do it and focused on each question. IR and AWA was good.
Score 610 (Q47, V27, IR 6)
With a huge disappointment and heavy heart I came home. I requested ESR. Will update after receiving it.
I am planning to apply for MIM courses and ISB Early entry option. (I am less than 2yrs experienced)
As the deadlines are approaching, I dont know what to do. I want to retake the exam. Please help me what I can do next. I exhausted all my mocks.
Suggestions on material that I can practice further and which mocks should i take next?
Experts please help
Thanks in Advance!!!!
