680 (Q42, V41) to 700 in 3 weeks. How do I improve my quant?

Other than reviewing my error log and maybe finishing up OG DS?

Working with a study buddy who has strong Quant skills may be helpful. There is a study buddy thread on gmatclub you can check out/sign up to. You could teach Verbal in exchange for Quant, for example. Browsing for similar posts by people who've improved their Quant could also provide some helpful insight.

Hi drahma7,

Assuming that your Verbal skills are consistently this strong - and that you've been taking your CATs/mocks in a realistic fashion that matches-up with how you will take your Official GMAT - then you are closer to a 700+ Score than you probably realize.

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi drahma7,

I think the move is to dive back into TTP, but this time follow the study plan exactly as it's laid out. Do you think you can do that? Also, feel free to contact us on live chat if you need any additional advice.

I hope my verbal skills are this strong consistently. I realized pretty on it's my strong suit, as my TTP diagnostic indicated I did really well with no prep. After watching GMATNinja I was able to get the OG verbal hard problems correct ~80% of the time so I just figured I would focus on quant. I took this mock under as strict conditions as possible. I even got the MGMAT prep test simulation booklet and marker and I used that.

1.) Been studying 15 hours a week.
2.) I have only used my first official free practice exam from officialgmat/mba website
3.) Took it last Monday and got the scores I outlined in this post. Only one I have ever taken.
4.) My GMAT is April 1st. I am a college senior and applying deferred. Targeting all T10 + CMU (I have a job lined up in tech and CMU seems well respected in the industry.) Going to start apps the day after my GMAT and work on it through that entire month, prioritizing schools that have deadlines earliest.

Since I only have 3 weeks, I'm not sure whether I have time to work through TTP like that, although I wish I had done that from the beginning, it seems like if I had I would be good to go haha

Need to practice topic-wise questions using Forum Quiz. Extremely useful explanations posted by Experts therein.

Is forum quiz worth buying rather than using free search feature?

Hi drahma7,

Since you are planning to apply to some highly-competitive Programs, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement (and the more time that you have to act on that advice, the better). There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admissio ... tants-124/

I've also sent you a PM with some additional notes.
