Hey new to this forum seems great.
Anyways just finished sitting the GMAT. Got a 680 (Q47 (78%) V36 (78%)) Overall 86%. Although it is below the magical 700 number was wondering if breakdown ever matters to programs as everybody always talks about the overall score.
For example would a 680 with my breakdown be viewed in a more favorable light than a 690/700 with a Q45 V39/40 for a finance related masters or MBA?
Also even though Q47 is 78th percentile (I am surprised by this as the max score is 51) is this considered a strong quant score?
Finally can a strong AWA (5.5 or 6.0)score offset my lower verbal score?
Any insights to any of my questions much appreciated. Thnx.

Yeah makes sense. If the course is more quant focused than would probably make a difference if not then not really.
Btw I don't want to use this forum as some sort of personal ad space, but if anybody is interested in the VeritasPrep Collection of Books (Originally bought for $800) you can have my set for $150 + S&H. Most of the books are written in but are in pristine condition with the original casing. PM me if your interested.
