Hi shubiiz,

First off, a 680/Q50 is a strong Score - and it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. As such, another retest might not be necessary. You're ultimately asking Admissions questions though - and since you know the specific Schools that you plan to apply to - you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement (and the more time that you have to act on that advice, the better). There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

https://gmatclub.com/forum/ask-admissio ... tants-124/

It's worth noting that your overall 'ability level' over the last few months might closer to a 650 (meaning that the two 620s were at the 'low end' of your range and the 680 was at the 'high end'). If that's that case, then you might need to work on a number of different areas before you would be able to consistently score in the 700s. If you ultimately do plan to retake the GMAT, then you should post back here (or you can feel free to PM me directly) and we can discuss how you might best proceed with your studies.

My GMAT Prep has reached a saturation point since I am preparing for about 6 months

Since you have been consistently scoring relatively low on Verbal, curious to know how you have been preparing for Verbal and which section in Verbal has been specifically bothering you.

Hi shubiiz,

I can understand why you are beginning to get burned out, so regarding whether to retake, I'd love to know the scores breakdowns of your official practice exams. Can you provide that information? In the meantime, here is a helpful article:
