So I suppose PV and ETS are fairly consistent.

I just wonder if I somehow got screwed by answering certain questions wrong, and could do better next time. Unfortunately, there is no way to know, which kind of bothers me.

i had similar practice scores (gmatprep - didn't use kaplan) and wound up with a 690 at the end of may. I'm retaking again in 2 weeks.

I just felt that I could do better. There were at least 3 questions in quant that I got wrong that I solved no problem when I got home. I guess I just had a bad day.

If you feel like you can do better, I would try again

680 is a decent score. So if the rest of your application is strong enough
this score won't hurt you in any way. Even in the ultra-elite cluster. I, personally, would retake if I had such a score , but my GPA is a disaster so I simply wouldn't have a choice.

I just feel that a 680 puts a lot of pressure on the other aspects of my candidacy, and, based on my practice scores, I'm disappointed.

Anyone have any advice on how I could improve? I've already taken every CAT I can think of and have done ~1,000 practice problems.

I think perhaps KAPLAN overstressed geometry; the real test seemed to have more number property questions than I was used to seeing.
