I have taken the test multiple times, and I am going with my 690 because it is time to focus on the app and essays. Although I am not part of the illustrious 700+ club, a 690 is the 91st percentile, and that will clear any doubts regarding my ability to handle the workload and collaborate with students at a top 15 school. On the flip side, it will not attract adcoms to me like a 700+ score. Therefore, the quality of my application will have to compensate. Knowing my experiences and writing ability, I am confident that I can achieve my goal, but only time will tell.
On that note, I look forward to corresponding with everyone on GMAT Club throughout the application process. Who knows, some of us could end up being each other's classmates.
(I also look forward to corresponding about the GMAT again because that will mean that I got into one of my choice schools! I plan on retaking the test after I get in because many top IB firms ask for your GMAT score--but not the number of times taken)

Good job Djhouse...we are know there are many aspects of the application that are important. How did you do on practice tests and where are you applying?

I was all over the place on my practice tests. I took every single Kaplan, MGMAT, and GMAT Prep test. They ranged from 560 to 730. My highest Kaplan score was 670, my highest MGMAT was 720, and my highest Prep was 730. If I had to guess on my weakness, I would say pacing; I always had to guess on 5 or more questionsat the end. That could have made the difference between 10 or 20 points. Whatever the case, time to focus on the applications.
My target schools are (not necessarily in this order):
-Columbia and Stern (Finance and proximity to Wall Street)
-Fuqua (Very team-oriented)
-Darden (Huge proponent of the case method)
-Johnson (Good NY recruiting)
-Ross and Tuck (Still researching, but like what I have seen so far)
No safety schools for me!
My target schools are (not necessarily in this order):
