I took the GMAT Focus Edition (now rebranded to GMAT) in July 2024.
As I had been removed from college for a few years, I was unsure if my math skills were enough for the exam.
Prep started as far back as February 2024. I took the OG Mock Test 1 in around March-April 2024 and my score was 565. I was definitely a little bumped out, and that was when I decided to use TTP for GMAT prep.
I used TTP to brush up on my quant and DI, using the intensive 4-month plan. TTP math guides were extremely useful and I used them to comprehensively review my math skills, from basic to advanced.
I studied intensively for 3 months, 1-2 hours every day (except for Sunday of course! be sure to rest, guys). I took the OG Mock Test 2 in June 2024 and my score went up to 655! It was still below the 685+ mark I set for myself, but the progress after a few months was visible to me, and gave me a confidence boost.
Then came D-day in July 2024, and I got the score I aimed for on first try, which I was very happy about.
I used this score to apply and get admitted to the ESADE FTMBA programme class of 2027, which I'll enroll in starting September 2025.
If I have to put into bullet points how TTP helped me:
- Comprehensive Math review: The best feature of TTP for me. Each and every math concept, from basic to advanced, is so well thought out and explained.
- Error and progress tracking: TTP has a very effective error tracking system that helped me revisit past errors to identify where I was wrong. Also, TTP enabled me to review my own progress as I set the goal for myself to score 685+ (TTP's "Expert" track).
Happy to connect to discuss the GMAT, ESADE, or anything related!
