Hi
DinkarDK,
I am sorry to hear that your actual GMAT result was not in line with your expectations. To understand the reason for this drop in performance I would want to know the following from you:
1. Was there anything during the test that may have resulted in poor performance during the test?
2. You mentioned that you used e-GMAT course for your second attempt and saw a 5 points increase in your Verbal score, how did you prepare Verbal for the third attempt?
ESR Observations and Recommendations
1. Poor Accuracy in the first and the last block brought the score down.
2. You needed more time to get the questions correct as seen in the second and third blocks. When you spent lesser time, your accuracy reduced as seen in first and fourth blocks.
3. Your ability in CR is low and in SC and RC it is decent but there is scope of improvement across the three sections
4. You must use
GMAT Planner to decide the Verbal split required to get to V40. E.g.- SC : 96 percentile , RC : 91 percentile, CR : 54 percentile. This is just an example. You can set your own sectional scores.
Learn how Alok maximized his score despite being weak in one section:
You can go through the Your Study Plan module from your
e-GMAT course to understand how to set sub-sectional target scores in detail or read this
article.
5. You must go through the concept of takt time and the section for retakers in the Your Study Plan module to understand the way forward.
6. You can also watch the
GMAT Score booster session to understand how to create a one month study plan as a re-taker.
