Finally done - 700. Reasonably happy but not thrilled by anymeans.
First of all, thank you GMAT club. the comments of various members were insightful and nothing helps more than experience of others.
Before I sound too cocky, the reason I said that was because I was scoring in the range of 720-750 with the MGMATs. ( I expected around 720 but I am ok with the score.
Here's my key takeaways:
the actual math was way easier than the challenges. I did all 25 challenges and was always in the 95-99% in each of them. I ended in the 95% on the GMAT test, reason being 2 silly mistakes in the beginning. I knew I had done wrong after I clicked the button.
Verbal was not difficult compared to MGMAT or anything else. But, the essays were a bit tricky.
Overall after months of preparation with hard math questions on MGMAT, GMAT club challenges, 800 score gmat tests, kaplan math, OG 11 all questions, MGMAT books and various other math books - probability concepts book, statistcal handbook etc., I found the math no challenge at all..
My suggestion - pace yourself. I did not do an effective job of pacing myself and left 3 questions unanswered in verbal. Ouch! Those damn essays!
My preparation:
4 months of intense preparation that included:
GMAT Kaplan test 1 630
Kaplan test 2 640
Kaplan test 3 660
Kaplan test 4 610
By then I realized Kaplan's scoring system kinda sucks. Not representative enough. But they still have some good verbal questions.
MGMAT 1 710
MGMAT 2 720
MGMAT 3 690
MGMAT 4 750
MGMAT 5 730
MGMAT was a definite boost to my confident, not to mention they have good math questions - especially around statistics and probability.
Powerprep 1 (1 month before exam) 730
Powerprep 2 (2 days before exam) 700
MGMAT 6 740 (1 day before exam)
1 week before exam
800 score test 1 (690)
800 score test 2 (670)
800 score has good math questions but verbal sucked..
Solved all questions in OG 11. It is your bible.. you live and die by it.
My question to all the GMAT CLUB gurus ... is the score good enough to get into top part time programs like Kellogg, U Chicago, Ann Arbor. Those are my target schools for part time.
I was thinking of taking the exam again in 2 weeks and aiming 20-30 points higher.
I am too tired to post anything more given that I just completed the exam 2 hours back. But, feel free to PM me or post a message if you have questions.

Grats man.
I don't know bout ur other credentials, but a 700 is good for pretty much any score.
if you had a very low GPA, then you might want to reconsider taking the GMAT, but if you have awsome work experience Ive heard u shouldn't worry too much about ur score.
