After being rejected by XLRI just a week back , I took my GMAT today.
Score - 700
Q- 49
V - 35
IR - 5
Work Experience - 5 years ( Automobile, hyperlocal e-commerce, Media/Entertainment)
Graduation : IIT Kharagpur
CGPA : 7.11
I also a 5 year Diploma course in Fine Arts which is equivalent to Bachelor of Fine Arts and am currently working as a Product Manager in a Media/Entertainment firm for more than a year . This was my third attempt since my first take at GMAT where I scored 650.
I am targeting the following colleges :
1. Indian School of Business
2. MIT Sloan School of Management
3. Kellogs School of Management
4. London School of Business
5. INSEAD
The 700 score has put me in a dilemma of what should i do next :
- Prepare and take GMAT to score 720+
- Start working on my profile
Any suggestions will be of great help

Considering your profile, I strongly recommend you retake your exam before applying. Don't forget you are an Indian Male. Hence, the schools you are targeting are tough to get at this score.

I agree that retaking the GMAT is a good idea. Were you scoring 720+ on your recent practice exams? When are your application deadlines? If you do decide to retake the GMAT, do you need any advice regarding your study plan?
