Hi there - thanks for reaching out. I think your GPA / GMAT stats are good and put you in range for those target programs you mention. You seem younger than most applicants, but it is great that you've had promotions and team lead experience, so that should make up for the lower years of experience.
On your first question, it's hard to say about the scholarship, that's really hard to predict because schools use different criteria. If having a large scholarship is important to you then you may want to apply to a broader range of schools to increase your options.
On your second question, take a look at our consulting career primer (
https://shop.mbamission.com/products/co ... eer-primer) to see if you have the skills consulting firms are looking for. I think it's definitely possible but just know that the very top firms are quite competitive so again, start your search broad and you may find some boutique or specialized firms that appeal to you even more.
Good luck!

Hi everyone,
I am a 25 year old Male Marketer from Bangladesh.
For last 2.5 years I've been working in Marketing largest MNC in Bangladesh. I've been to 3 progressive roles in the mean time, lead huge teams of 200+ people and now planning for an MBA in Canada.
Below is a glimpse of my profile:
-GMAT 710 (Q 77%, V 89%)
-BBA CGPA- 3.3 (3.5 in last 2 years); Major: Finance, Minor: Marketing from country's top B.School
-Work focus- Marketing
-Country- Bangladesh
-Work- 2.5 years (3 months in a global startup, and the rest in MNC)
I have 2 questions:
1) Is it good enough to get into top 1Y MBAs in Canada (Richard Ivey, Schulich, Queens) with at least 50% scholarship?
2) Will an MBA+my current profile be good enough for managing a job at top management consulting firms after graduation?
Thanks in advance!
