Dear All, Just faced the monster & done with 710. I had not targetted any score as a target score, I didn't think much about it. Just after finishing verbal I felt I would have done better in verbal, I rushed through last 2/3 questions. Anyways, there is no end to such feeling I want to thank GMAT CLUB for everything it has been like a family. I have benifited a lot from the club. Thanks to Wilfred, Paul, Hjort for their vaulable advice time to time, whenever I mailed. Thanks Pret for making this club a wonderful place! I also want to thank all my buddies over here Laxie, Matt, Nandan, Girish, Himalaya, Abhishek (bewakoof), Prof, allabout, hotface, sanjay (gmat_crack), Brajesh, Andy, Nakib, Rahul.....I'm sure I missed many names As far as GMAT was concerned, I found GMATPrep overall score close to what I got, I scored around 700 in 3 tests. In the exam, AWA was cool. Quant is definitely tougher than ETS, challenges helped me a lot to get the confidence. Wordy DS are the tougher ones, but if you read carefully & write the equations, it's actually very easy. I didn't get any probability, otherwise, pretty mixed bag. Overall, I think quant is tougher if you try to solve it, VUE quant needs you to analyse & think, solving might take longer time! Coming to verbal, I got 3 RCs (my enemy), very short passages with 3 to 4 questions each. I want to thank Nandan for giving really valuable advice for RCs. My hit ration improved drammatically from no where to 80 to 90%. There were many SCs than CRs. Couple of really lenghy SCs. Overall, good experience. No problem with marker or erasable boards (I tried to erase but it didn't erase ) My only advice, "never give up", focus, practice, hard work really pay!

Sorry I did not read the chain of postings. Anyways, does anyone else have experience with getting more tests either by downloading the software again or by resetting?

Thank you, Vivek. Could you please post the RC tips. Waiting eagerly for them. Also, what do you do when you cant concentrate on the RC...I mean you read and re-read the passage but still nothing gets in. Does this happen with me alone??

I'm sure this is doesn't happen with you alone, so don't worry at all. When you start doing RC this is the first thing that happens to most of us but key is to practice a lot of RCs & that too as often as possible...probably everyday around 5 to 6 big RCs. There is no other way than reading as an active reader. I also suggest you to read a 'sticky' in verbal forum about "RC timing" initiated by Rahul Rao. As I said before do it again & again, for few of us, it comes only after lot of practice

My project in San Francisco got over and I have moved to Atlanta. You can understand how much diffcult it is to move with the family and that too with a 2 year old kid. So just now I am settled and started preparing again to kill the beast. So where all will be applying??
