Hello all,
I've been inconsistently studying for the last month. My goal is to get a 700 and apply to Johnson or similarly ranked school that offers an MBA/MD. I started by taking two practice tests (Veritas, GMATClub) to get a baseline and got 660 43/38 and 660 41/39 respectively. I bought the OG and have been working through it for the last 3 weeks, mostly quant. I am no where near finishing it but i thought I would take another practice test. I got a 720 on GmatPrep #1 (46,44). obviously I was thrilled with this jump, but I'm worried it may be a fluke, considering I barely studied verbal and have only focused on raising my Q through practice problems. what can I do until my test date, Aug 7, to make sure my test day score is consistent?
Also, what are some relatively easy things to learn/study to maximize your score? Memorize idioms?

If you took the GMATPrep test under test conditions and if the questions were "new", then you can rest assured that your 700 was not a fluke. That's not to say that you're definitely going to get that kind of score on your GMAT, as there can be variations in your score for a number of reasons. If I were you, I would take another GMATPrep before exam day, maybe 3-4 days before the actual GMAT.
