First of all I'd like to thank GMATClub and its forum members for all the help and excellent materials..
I took my GMAT today and royally screwed up my quant section.. I had been regularly getting 49-50 in the Manhattan, 800score and Powerprep mock tests..Dunno what happened today .. All the questions seemed very different from what I had ever practised.. But thankfully the verbal section more than made up for the quant bungle..
Can I cover up the low quant scores with my university scores (have scored an A on all math courses)..

Q45 and 720 overall is hardly a "low" score (unless you're John Nash). I'd say that you're over the hurdle below which AdComs may have a concern with your quantitative abilities, and would only suggest re-taking if you have absolutely no doubt that you will beat your current score the second time around. I suspect, however, that you'd be better off worrying about making sure that the other components of your application are in order.
