Great Score! Congratulations!

What do you think about the scores on Princeton Review exam?
Did you give Princeton Review test 1, first among your list of tests?
Because your other tests' scores are in very line - range between 650 and 720 except for the princeton.. there is huge difference from 510 to 630 to 700..

I gave that first test without having a clue as to what the GMAT was about. I had no idea of the importance of finishing the exam, so I took my time - I left quite a few questions unanswered in the quantitative as well as the verbal section. I also wasn't very familiar with the CR part in the Verbal section in particular. And as a result of all this, I scored so poorly in the first PR test!

The jump to 630 and more happened after a month of learning the various 'tricks and techniques' to deal with the variety of problems.

Congratulations rednblack89!

I have a question: In CR, did you use only the OGs and the Powerscore CR Bible?, have not used other questions bank to practice that area?

Cheers!

metallicafan,

Yes, I used only the Powerscore CR Bible along with the OG (12); I also used the OG Verbal Review.
These books are more than enough once you understand the CR Bible completely!

Well, I finally gave my GMAT today. My scores were as follows:

Quantitative: 49 (86th percentile)
Verbal: 40 (89th percentile)
AWA: 6.0 (91st percentile)
