I woke up around 10:15am for my 1:15pm test time. I went to the local dunkin donuts, bought some coffee and bagels. I had some eggs divided my bagel and coffee so that I can have some in the morning and some during the break. At around 11am, I started doing some warmup exercises – 5 PS, 4 DS, 4 SC, 4 CR and I skimmed a RC passage not doing the questions. I left my house at noon and arrived at the test center at 12:20pm. I was given a sheet which contained gmat instructions, the same stuff you would see on the GMATPrep, I didn’t really pay close attention. One portion of the instructions said something to the effect of, “do not access any study notes during the breaks.â€

Wow...That was really incerdible 'cos you held on to your nerves when it mattered the most.

After the Quant is done you are almost tired but the next target is conquering the Verbal...Phew!...Thats really a test of nerves and focus.

Well done man!! :-D

Seriously though, if you get nervous, don't lean your chest against the edge of the desk. You'll feel your heart pounding and lose concentration.

Just got official score via online: nothing has changed

AWA 5.0 73% -- this is a bit of a joke. Again, I half heartedly practiced maybe once or twice. On the actual gmat I put in about 40 min. for both AWA's and that's being generous.

My advice: do the AWA quickly, be well reasoned, and use it as warm up for the real thing!

I'm a bit disappointed, the decent AWA score takes away a reason for re-taking gmat
