Hi everyone!
I am a little torn about what to do. I just took my GMAT (the original one) and scored 730 (Q49V40). I know I can do better on verbal (i think 49 maybeee 50 is my quant limit). I'm unsure whether I should retake it or not since the old GMAT won't be in use anymore in a month. My plans are to apply for deferred MBA since I'm in my last year of undergrad. At a top CA business school studying international relations and business (85% avg dk what it is on a GPA scale). My top choice is GSB and second is Wharton. I have strong internship experience (top CPG and top consulting firm) but I'm nervous that my GMAT is not that competitive considering the incoming class profile for GSB has a median gmat of 730+. should i retake? or should I leave it? or maybe take the gmat focus since it has no SC (lol) and more IR (which I find easy)?
Any help would be appreciated
Hey
xwan928,
You have quite the GMAT score. Your GMAT score is simply one aspect of your overall portfolio. Adcoms are considering your panoramic profile while they let out an admit in hand. If you are satisfied with your current score, you need not reattempt the exam as GSB and HBS both will accept the classic GMAT score for the current admission cycle.
We recommend you connect with our MBA consultants from leading business schools who can review your profile, create a tailored roadmap for you, and help you make a guided decision.
