Hi!
I took the GMAT today (first attempt), scored 730 (Q50, V39), and would like to have your opinion on whether I should retake or not.
I am a non-native speaker (Europe) with an engineering background.
In the Quant section, I was very nervous, especially when I struggled so much with the first question (usually it's a medium-difficulty question but this one was really hard

). I lost 5-6 minutes on that one and I don't think I got the right answer... I spent so much time on this one because I know that the first questions are more important for the final score. I eventually got Q50 but I think I can aim for Q51.
In the verbal section, I never felt comfortable but managed to get V39. I think I could get a V40/41 with good RC passages and of course a bit of luck, but not so much more given the fact that my English ability is not that of a native speaker.
I plan to apply to several M7 BS in R1, so I still have 3 months but I need to pass the TOEFL and build the rest of my application as well.
Does it make sens to retake it and target 750/760 or should I focus instead on the rest of my application given the planning?
Thanks a lot for your advices!
