Hi all,
this should be an encouragement to everybody who gets nervous about not getting enough sleep the night before and having emotional turmoil. I hoped to get about 650 in my GMAT.
My boyfriend and I broke up the day before the test and the night before the test I couldn't sleep more than 4 hours. I was getting so worried that I wasn't able to sleep that I totally stressed out about the test and the breakup with my boyfriend, that I had some kind of nervous breakdown as everything came out. I'm normally a very relaxed person, but I guess the nerves just went crazy.
I felt terrible the morning of the test and had shaking hands and heartrace......
In summary: My mental condition wasn't the best for writing a GMAT and I hoped that I wouldn't totally flunk the test.
I could not believe when I saw the result on the screen: 730! That was higher than in any practise test. I couldn't believe it.
So this should be an encouragement for everybody: YOU CAN WRITE A GOOD GMAT EVEN IF YOU ARE A NERVOUS WRECK AND CAN'T SLEEP THE NIGHT BEFORE!
Thanks to all the help in the quantitative section of this forum. I bought question set no 2 and it really helped me to crack the most difficult concepts. Thank you guys!!! This forum is awesome.
