Lurked in the prep section a bit last week, so thought I would add my experience.

Got a 730 96%
Quants 45 78%
Verbal 45 98%

My biggest concern was waking up in time as the test was at 8 AM. That is normally la-la land time. Kinda embarrassing for an engineer to have sucked in the quant section :oops: but hey. Did finish the Manhattan sentence correction book, which I have to say is rather good. Anyone know if schools weigh in the quant% when doing admissions? Should I be worried about it?

Things I leanred. Joe Bloggs has to be retarded. Watching an episode of scrubs for every 1.5 hours spent on preparation is therapeutic and my case seems to have helped. . Jobs cramp your style. Expect 2 hrs of useful prep on a workday and 6 on weekends.

Seriously.. A friend gave me that book and its gotta be absolutely worthless.

I think of the books that I had, Kaplan was the toughest and official review was good practice.

Congrats Daszero, that is an excellent verbal score. I hear they look for an 80/80 split, and your quant seems right on target.

congrats daszero...awesome score...well i am giving it next friday...gave couple of tests..scored 650...gprep..scored 45,46 in quant but can never cross 40 mark in verbal.always getting in 30's rather low 30's any suggestions....how was the pattern?17 sc or 12+12+12 format..my rc is my weakness....plz help...and all the ebst for round 2!!!

I have no idea of how the patterns ended up to be honest. I think it was closer to 12/12/12. As for test scores, don't let it bother you too much. I scored about 50 points higher than my average score on the 3 tests that I took, if that helps. I think being relaxed and rested is key.
