I started in Feb. But, with Knewton it was a good start. To me, the true preparation started after I took the first MGMAT CAT in early April. I think I got the MGMAT guides around end of April. So my serious preparation started early may. Although, I was trying to keep up with Knewton, all things considered, I think I just wasted my money and time with them. Here are my scores:
Knewton Cat1: 600
Knewton Cat2: 600
Knewton Cat3: 610
Knewton Cat4: 660
Knewton Cat5: 580

MGMAT CAT1: 600
MGMAT CAT2: 650
MGMAT CAT3: 670
MGMAT CAT4: 680
MGMAT CAT5: 680
MGMAT CAT6: 730

GMATPrep CAT1: 740
GMATPrep CAT2: 750

GMAT First try: 670
GMAT Second: 730

My Knewtons score were very low. Believe it or not, I am better at tougher problems than easier problems. I have tendency to make silly mistakes. Knewton had too many easy questions any mistake and you get punished heavily. I think in one of the tests I had 33 questions right and scored 42 in quant. Extremely poor scoring.

Ramascar,

Could you tell us more about actual Math you faced on the Test?
Two weeks ago I saw MAAANY DSs, no mixture problems and only one probabaility.

Approximately, how many DS and Word Problems you saw? What was the ratio?

Thanks.

MGMAT CAT4: 680
MGMAT CAT5: 680
MGMAT CAT6: 730

Thanks for the debrief and congratulations.

The problem with MGMAT was with word problems. They are generally extremely wordy, and I am a slow reader. So I ended up wasting lot of time reading problems. I always thought I will score better in actual GMAT. Plus they are extremely calculation intensive, not the case with GMAT. Hence, dont take any of these practice tests as golden. Know the limits of these tests use them accorodingly.

To answer another persons question, I dont really remember what was the ratio of DS to PS. But I think it was in the ball park of GMATPrep.I remember finishing the first 12 or 13 question in about 16 or 17 min. Then took my sweet time solving tough problems to a point when I had 2 min per question. Of course I cannot mention the actual questions. But I would highly recommend GMATClub questions.

After scoring miserable Q48 I went to GMAT Club Tests and they easily disparaged me... I did not know that I'm so weak in Math - GMAT did not show me anything resembling the difficulty of GMAT Club Tests :) I agree that they are much better than MGMAT, where Word Problems can be called "just another RC section" :)
