First of all, I would like to thank Gmatclub for all the useful posts and flash cards. They're wonderful!
I took my GMAT in Merriville's Pearson Center on April 22nd. It was a rainy day. My test was scheduled to start at 3:00pm, but I FORGOT my passport (i didn't know that a non-US citizen must have a passport as oppose to only a driver's license!)obtain my.I arrived at 2:45 and I was told by a lady that I must show my passport to her before 3:15 or else my test will be cancel. Well, I live 30 minutes away so I thought i was sol. Eventually, I reached a friend that could fetch my passport. Long story short, my friend drove 10m/h above speed limit to get my passport to me on time.
I finished both essays using the entire hour. As for math, I thought it was pretty challenging, especially the last few questions. I ended up having only 3 minutes to answer 3 questions. Needless to say I guessed on the last two. At that point, I told myself to forget about Math and concentrate on Verbal. Being an ESL student, verbal is not my strong pole, but I thought I did okay.
After finishing all the survey questions, I clicked next. Man, for what seemed like the longest seconds of my life, 740 was the score.
I was originally targeting 760 as both of my GMAT PREP test are 760, so I guess I'm a little short from my prep score.
So, my question is: Is this score good enough for the top 10 MBA programs? Should I retake it?
Thanks!
