Hello all,
I want to say thank you to this forum - its been a great addition to my GMAT prep, and helped me get in the right frame of mind for the test. I gave the GMAT today, and finished 2 hours ago. I can't express the feeling of relief, now that I've exorcised this test.
GMAT exam:
I was always 2 Qs shy of finishing in my practice tests. Today was a little different. My strategy was to finish the 1st 12 in 25 mins....it didn't quite work out. I was at Q9 after 25, and Q20 after 50 mins! I hustled BIG TIME and got done with 10 secs to spare.
Anyway, I'm glad the ordeal is over, and I can start having a social life again.
My Prep:
I prepped about 2 months, and took time off work the last 2 weeks to concentrate on the exam. Took mock tests throughout my prep, and timed every Q, and flagged all errors to identify my weak spots.
Books:
Kaplan 2004
Princeton 2004
OG 10
Manhattan GMAT SC - I recommend this one!
Good luck to all future test takers.
PS: the noteboards are not a problem at all. The pens are like regular pens, not as thick as markers. So no worries!
