I see nothing wrong with what Gowtham wrote. If GMAC is to be offended with that remark "pathetic" so be it. He as a consumer paid for this attempt and if he is not satisfied with the service provided, he has all the right to express himself. Some of us have to remember that GMAC is not the only game in town anymore, as more and more schools (including the likes of Stanford ) are signing up to consider GRE as an evaluation tool instead of sticking to the GMAT alone. This in return will open up the competition among the service providers (PearsonVue Versus ETS) and would eventually lead to a better testing experience for us consumers who have to shell $250 each time we sit down in front of those terminals. I am sure that GMAC is taking note of such minor gaffes leading to a bitter experience for some test takers whose psyche gets a little messed up and start panicking when a function key is not working in some of their broken machines. I'd say that if anything, Pearson Vue would come back apologizing to Gowtham for not providing him the best testing experience and repay that $45 cost for reevaluating his essays. To summarize, there is nothing wrong in letting a service provider know that you are not happy with their service, even it comes out as "harsh" as we have seen in Gowtham's e-mail. It is time we stick it up to these Testing companies and start demanding better service.

Hahaha.. That's a good one, fookie. The best thing in that scenario would be to avoid going to McDonalds altogether and instead go to Wendy's or Taco Bell if you are in a hurry to get your meal. Isn't that what "consumer choice" is all about? If GMAT sucks, take GRE instead. I am at least happy that there is such an option for folks like us who strongly believe in consumer rights.
