I took the gmat recently and scored 750 (Q49/V44) but scored a 3 on the IR section. I had a lot of difficulty with the section - two questions had significant typos that prevented me from answering correctly, and one question used the wrong graph for what was asked in the question text! I have reported this issue and hope that the investigation will rule in my favor, but the most that can happen is that I get to reschedule for free.
I chose schools to send this score to (Harvard, MIT, Columbia, Stanford, Booth) and don't want this score on their record. I'm thinking of cancelling it - is this too drastic?
For context, this is my second attempt on the GMAT. On my first time, I scored 730 (Q48/V42/IR8). I cancelled that score since a 730 was too low for my target schools, but now I have a horrible score on the IR section. Not sure what to do.
