Great score dude!

Just curious, had you already prepared for CAT exam before you took GMAT?

Congrats on your score !

I'm going to be taking the GMAT in 3.5 weeks time , what would you suggest that I do between now and that date ? I'm scoring around 710 in the MGMAT tests and I find that timing is my biggest issue rather than content knowledge

I think what you should be focusing at the moment is excruciating analysis of the tests which you take. You should not, by the way, take a CAT everyday as that will exhaust you. Take it every alternate or third day and make sure that you do the analysis that day itself. Spend around 3-4 hours in the analysis itself. Timing issue is directly related to application of concepts. You may know the content but you may not be able to apply the concepts in the shortest period of time and that's exactly what the GMAT tests you on.

It's been a long time. Wanted to update you all that I have made it through INSEAD for the Jan 2013 intake ! Haven't decided the campus but most probably it'll be Singapore. Will be putting in my papers in the company only after I use my 10 day leave that is left for this year ? :) I'm sure that people in office will look at me with great envy for the next 2 months of the notice period. Thank you gmatclub for helping me sail through this long journey!

Thanks bb. gmatclub has been a great factor in helping me get through the school of my choice hough I have been more of a leech who extracted everything from here and just wish I could have posted more but I have been spreading the word of mouth for gmatclub among the people I know for quite sometime so that's my small contribution :)

Whoa! Great to hear this. I'm also interested in applying to INSEAD. Can you give a brief about your background especially the amount and kind of work experience you have ?

Visiting the forum after a long time and what a great pleasure to read that you have gotten through INSEAD. That's just awesome. Both of us had taken the GMAT roughly around the same time and you already have an admit but i still don't. I just hope that i have some good news to share here in the next couple of months. All the best buddy. :) :)

wow! what a fantastic score on the quant!

Do you mind sharing the dates that you took Gmatprep 1 and the retake?

I got a 730 on my retake but only 600 the first time i took it in March and I am trying to figure out how representative my final score is.I am taking the gmat a second time (After a 690) and can only DREAM of getting a 730!!

I think that GMATPREP is the closest to the actual gmat but obviously if you retake it, the score will be inflated because of repeat questions

thanks for the reply, but i did take the test again anyway. It all went good.i wish the same for everyone!
