What can I say? Great analysis!!!! Thank you for taking time to summarize your GMAT story!!!

btw, how long did you study to get such an amazing score?

I am working with LSAT RC passages, but I don't finish them in 35 min... more like 50 min with average 75% comprehension... If you don't mind, can you talk about your LSAT RC stats in the beginning/end? Thanks. Also did you use 10 Offical LSATs book... aren't those questions in RC 1000 document???

good luck in the applications process!!!

I used the Next 10 Official LSAT book. This book features LSAT preptests from PrepTest 30 to Preptest 39 : that's from Dec 99 to Dec 2002.The doc has PrepTests 1-28. PrepTest 28 is June 1999. There is also one single Test of 2002 in the doc.Hence the Next 10 book has different and newer tests.

It's ok to take more time. I was also not usually able to finish in the alloted 35 minutes. Usually took something b/w 4-8 minutes extra.

I started with about 5-7 wrong out of the 25-27 questions in a section. I ended up with a avg rate of about 1-4 wrong. There were very few tests wherein i got all the questions correct.

In general the more recent tests are harder. However, for many people the LSAT stuff might not really be required for the GMAT. Some people are inherently good at RC.
And as i said before atleast 2 of the 4 RC's in the GMAT would be very simple. It's only one or 2 passages that might have tricky questions, depending on how well one does in the CAT.

Not too long. 3 months in total with phases of no prep and a lot of prep depending on the work schedule.
I also did limited verbal material. For instance i never did CR and RC from OG. I only did SC thoroughly from OG. For CR and RC i just relied on LSAT stuff. I did not spend time on anything else for verbal. I was the strongest in CR and weakest in RC until the end, perhaps that's the reason why I found RC the hardest section on the real test.
