@zing:
wrong answers - test - verbal score
11 mgmat cat #1 42
11 mgmat cat #2 45
13 mgmat cat #3 40
9 mgmat cat #4 45
8 mgmat cat #5 45
7 mgamt cat #6 45

Having a little trouble accessing GMAT Prep v 2.0 after I installed v1.0 so don't have those numbers in this list.

As you can see, I got 45 in 4 of these with the number of questions answered incorrectly going from 7 to 11 and I've also had a 42 with 11 wrong. I'm curious to know how you think this would help your strategy, though. I wouldn't suggest an overly complicated strategy of targeting a low number of questions answered incorrectly, since you never know which of the questions are experimental. Also wrong answers at different times will have a different impact on your overall score. I think you should simply try to create a strategy that allows you to answer all questions to the best of your ability. I too did take a look at the number of questions I was getting wrong, but just to see how I was doing. These numbers were NOT a part of my test taking strategy. Cheers.

PS: It's Karun, not Karuna :)

Karuna- Thanks a lot.

I am trying hard to bring down my wrong answers under ten, not able to do.... So, just wanted to get some more insight into this. Your answer helps in getting some positivity- that's all ! Thanks.

^ I would suggest that you make sure you time yourself when you practice. Taking 10 Question sets worked well for me. If you improve your times in practice, good results in mock tests should follow. Best of luck. :)

@zing: Karuna again?? Are you trolling me?? :P Best of luck anyway. :)
