GMAT Club Official Solution:
Let a technician do t units of work per day and a trainee do r units of work per day.
Total work is the same in both scenarios:
In 7 days, they do 7(7t + 8r).
In 6 days, they do 6(8t + 11r).
So:
7(7t + 8r) = 6(8t + 11r)
t = 10r
Therefore, t:r = 10:1.
Answer: D

Work done in 7 days by team-1 = Work done in 6 days by team-2
7*(7t + 8T) = 6*(8t + 11T)
49t + 56T = 48t + 66T
t = 10T
