I can consistently get CR questions in the 705-805 section correct, barring a few mistakes here and there, and all of sub 655 questions correct. But the second it comes to attempting OG questions marked '805+' on GMATClub, I am unable to get a streak correct. I've had one correct in all of the questions I've attempted (I've done a bunch).
What is the reason? Is there some higher order thinking skill tested in the 805 category of questions? How can I build that knowledge? Is there some kind of knowledge or conceptual gap? Why can I get the others correct then?
Love, whompp7

Your difficulty with GMAT CR questions in the 805+ category stems from their complexity, requiring advanced reasoning skills and precision in identifying subtle nuances, assumptions, and logical structures. While you perform well on lower-difficulty questions, these advanced questions often involve intricate reasoning chains and misleading answer choices designed to test higher-order thinking. To improve, focus on pre-thinking, detailed analysis of OG explanations, strengthening your logical skills, and practicing advanced CR resources like those from GMAT Club or third-party materials. Review your mistakes in-depth and refine your time management to handle these challenging questions more effectively.
