A test taker made 9 mistakes ..V41? 5 mistakes in the first two sections?

Another confusion :
Very recent scores

700(Q50,V35);
710(Q50,V34);
the overall score for the first time is 10 points lower than for the second time
Why ?

Keep in mind that the difficulty of the questions that you get right/wrong impact your score, too. You got several wrong in the first section and almost half of them wrong in the second section, so that probably knocked down your average question difficulty and, ultimately, your score. (Your score is still pretty good, though.)

Hi Asianyc,

Could you clarify your first question?

Regarding your second question, the numerical section scores are not exact indicators of performance on the sections. Rather, each level represents a range of performance. So, you can perform at various levels and score, for instance, 50 in quant or 35 in verbal. So, your scoring Q50 on both tests does not mean that your performance in quant was the same on both tests. Rather, it appears that you performed at a higher level in quant on the second test, and thus scored higher overall even though your verbal score was lower.

Feel free to reach out with further questions.
