Relatively short( 30min), focused Interview with questions on the following lines. The Interviewer was Ms. Jessica Dowling, the MBA admissions manager.
1. Why MBA and Why Smurfit?
2. Describe your professional work experience
3. Conflicts managed if any
4. Post MBA goals- short term/long term
5. General Q&A
Tip: Smurfit seems to focus more heavily on essays and school research done by the applicant. Decision comes usually about 7-10 days after the interview.

Hello everyone. The school took 4 weeks to process the application and revert with an interview call. Interview was with Ms Sophie Carey who is the Admissions Director (if i'm not wrong). It was over Skype and mostly a informal conversation.
Questions:
1. Why MBA and why now?
2. Tell me about your work ex and your responsibilites?
3. How will an MBA help you and what are your goals?
4. Discussion regarding post MBA plans and how realistic they are.
5. How will you fund the MBA?
6. Any questions from your end.
General advise: Be confident and be very clear about your future goals. Emphasize on your transferable skills and how the school can build business skills to achieve your goal.
