For me (D)

We have to take only 3*3 (removed all cube at edges) on each surface of the cube.

Thus, 3*3*6 = 54

You are all right but I have a fundamental question:

I thought that a 5cc cube is a cube with side s has a volume of s*s*s = s^3=5 so s=cubic root(5)cm=1,7cm.
If the cube has a side=5, then its volume wd be 5*5*5=125cc....

Like a square with an area of 25 cm2 has a side s=sqrt(25)=5cm.

Can you please explain where I'm wrong?

You're not wrong- the question was wrongly worded-a 5 cubic centimetre cube cannot be sliced into several 1 cubic centimetre cubes.

A 5cc cube can be cut only into 5 pieces of 1cc each. You are right. Whats the source of the problem?

Although Karl brings up a good point. Thought about 5cc vol cube. Should be 5cm side cube.
