jyotsnasarabu,
You have got a very good score on math, congrats on that!
The villain for you was the verbal.
I am no expert to teach you, but I feel that
you should take a closer look at your verbal fundamentals and see if you got them right..
It is perfectly natural to go through the motions of covering many question sets without being clear on concepts, especially, when one doesn't like those types of questions.
I would suggest these:
1) Develop a liking- really like them(The passages, CR, and SC)
2) Initially, Take your time and get the answers right during the tests; worry abt and attend to the timing only after you are doing reasonably well and feeling confident abt picking winners.
3) Join a coaching for verbal if that is possible and focus on learning as if you are learning English for the first time.
4) Read basic grammar book(s) and make your own notes.
5) Try to really 'get it' by being sincere with the questions; don't try to remember questions or too many techniques. Focus on concepts.
When I ever I do well in my verbal questions , the right answer is staring at me. I am sure you will have this exp. too.
6) With 48 in math, you have the sharpness, logic and timing; You can do well in verbal as well.
Wish you all the best for the next take!
