Listed selling price of chair = 74.95 $
Discounted selling price of chair = 59.95 $
Discount = 74.95 - 59.95 = 15 $
% decrease in price of chair = (15/74.95) * 100% = 20 % approx

Answer B

A $74.95 lawn chair was sold for $59.95 at a special sale. By approximately what percent was the price decreased?

A. 15%
B. 20%
C. 25%
D. 60%
E. 80%

My Take: B

It was a very simple one.
(Cost price )C.P.=74.95
(Selling Price)S.P.=59.95

% profit/Loss = (C.P. - S.P.)/C.P.*100 [Rule : profit or loss always determine on C.P.]
=15/~25 = 20 % approx
