1. INSUFF
2. INSUFF

both,

substract 2nd st from the 1st:

a-a + (b-d)=-8
d-b=8
8/2=4

we get distance between the points =4

a+b=-8
b-a=4
a=-6 ---> b=-2 ----> c=2----> d=6

it seems C to me, individually each statement is insufficient

id guess C on this.

1) a+b=-8 -8 +0

-16+8 Insuff. many values can equal -8

2) could be -2 and 2 could be -4 and 4

Insuff.


w/ 1 & 2 it seems suff b/c a is opposite of d. and we know that a+b=-8
