Question asked the value of yellow jelly beans in bag
Ratio of red (R) and yellow (Y) jellybeans =R/Y =>cx/dx , where x=multiplier/base set
But we have been given value of red jellybeans =r ,therefore cx=r —>x=r/c (thus the multiplier value )
So value of yellow jellybeans =dx
=> d(r/c) =dr/c
Ans is B

Let the total jellybeans = 30

Ratio of red jellybeans ( c)= 2

Ratio of the yellow jellybeans (d) = 3

Red jellybeans = 12 ( r)

Yellow jellybeans = 18.

Option A) c/r = 2/12 = 1/6..........NOT matched.

Option B) dr / c = 3*12 / 2 = 18.................Matched. we know yellow jellybeans must be 18.

Correct answer is B.

and red = r
r/yellow ; c:d
and yellow ; r * d/c
