Hi Guys! Here I am, lost in the wind somewhat, with plenty of ambitions and what-nots in life. Have grown an interest in GMAT; albeit, I do not know where to begin. Pretty confused by a million Youtube videos, thought that I'd ask from experts instead. Just a simple piece of advice would help. Any books or suggestions? I aim to start from scratch.

Hi itsmeraj2812,

You can go through this article to understand the right way to prepare for GMAT.

https://www.mbacrystalball.com/blog/202 ... L6b4hafmwA

As GMAT is an adaptive test, I suggest you to go with an online course as it helps you take adaptive quizzes and provides you all the content on a single platform. The best way to choose an online course is to check out the free trials of the courses out there and then choose the one which suits you the most. But make sure to choose the course which can help you with not only the concepts but also the application of concepts. And it would be even better if the course can help you with the study plan as it will help you be clear of what to study on any given day.

You can check out the free trial of GMATWhiz and take a decision. It is a personalized course that comes with an integrated study plan and adapts the content in real-time on the basis of your performance. It will provide you exactly what you need to "improve". The course content is quite comprehensive, and we have detailed videos explaining everything from basics. And we also provide detailed videos explaining the best way to solve Quant questions and the right methodology to ace Verbal. Also, the mentors are always available to guide you in case you get stuck somewhere in your preparation. They'll help you understand where you went wrong and recommend the right course of action.

And I can definitely help you with the study strategy. GMAT is a test which focuses on application of concepts. So, you need to make sure that you learn not only the concepts but also their application. Please schedule a call with me using the link below so that I can guide you in a better way.

Hello itsmeraj2812,

To assist you better, we would request you to write back with the following questions:

1. What are your current score and target score? (You can mention the Diagnostic test score too)
2. How do you rate yourself in Quant and Verbal?

In a generalized way, to crack GMAT, you need a disciplined study plan, command on basic concepts, exposure to agile approaches, reliable resources, updated comprehensive material and mock tests, and an expert with whom you will be connected throughout your preparations.

As a GMAT instructor, I will first recommend taking our Free diagnostic test https://www.mathrevolution.com/diagnostic/dtExamMember and receiving a comprehensive study guide by topic. This test will clearly help you understand your weak areas. You may also see to connect with experts online for your preparation. Your diagnostic score will clarify what plan you should adopt to beat the GMAT. An initial mock rating will help to understand your concept knowledge of both sections.

We recommend that you must learn the Variable Approach for solving DS questions and the IVY approach for solving PS questions in order to improve your accuracy and save time while solving the question types.

Register with MathRevolution https://www.mathrevolution.com/member/signup to get access to our 7-day on-demand course for free trial lessons.
You may also connect with one of our experts to get one of the best tutoring supports, which will help you understand the topic(s) and solve questions and learn how to manage time and accuracy.

The most important thing for you will be learning and commanding the Variable Approach for DS questions and IVY Approach for PS questions. These approaches are the robust self-designed time-saving techniques that will help you learn efficiently, thus raising your score in the quick nick of time.

Below is the useful link we will recommend you to visit on GMAT club to experience the power of DS and IVY approaches.
