Hi universehk,

I have a few more questions:

1) When was the last time you took a FULL-LENGTH CAT?
2) What were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores on that CAT?
3) Have you used any CATs besides the ones that you named?

Congratulations on being pretty solid with the quant. A lot of people have serious issues with the quant on the gmat, so that is fortunate. In terms of the verbal, my honest recommendation is to do some research and then enroll in a test prep course. The course will cover quant in addition to verbal, but the verbal insights and strategies that you will take away will prove very instrumental in helping you push through this bottleneck. For example, Veritas teaches the powerful STOP methodology for reading comprehension, a strategy that helps students know exactly how best to attack a rc passage on the initial read, how to deal with the different kinds of questions and answer choices, and what traps you should be looking out for. I do not recommend trying to push through this bottleneck independently.

I hope that helps!

Dear All, Thanks for your advice.

I spend my effort on on another set of Full-length CAT of 800score.com
In return I have got 600 - Q49, V21 - the difference was enlarged.

Critical Reasoning was OK but I should be better: 10/15
Reading Comprehension was a disaster - 6/14,
Sentence Correct was 5/12

Hi universehk,

This recent CAT score is not far off from your original GMAT score, so you're still approaching the Test in the same general ways. Whatever 'bad habits' you've developed are going to take some time to 'fix' and with a 700+ score goal, you're likely going to need consistent, professional guidance during your studies. As such, you should look into investing in a GMAT Course of some type. Most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it. We have a variety of those resources at out site (www.empowergmat.com). I suggest that you take advantage of all of them then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

If you have any additional question, then just let me know.
