Its D I think
240 x 0.8 = 192
380 x 1.25 = 475
475 : 192 = 2.47

Given that the butcher bought 240 kilograms of beef for $380. 20% of that quantity is unusable, i.e. 48 kg is unusable (20% of 240 kg = 48 kg)
So, the amount of usable beef left is 240 - 48 = 192 kg
To make a profit of 25 % on the cost price of $380, the butcher must sell the usable beef at $475 ($380 + 25% of $380 = $475)
Therefore, average price per kilogram = Selling Price/quality of usable beef left, i.e. $475/192 kg = 2.4739 dollar per kg = $2.47 per kg

Hence, the correct answer is option D. $2.47
